J.T. Martin is 91����Ƶapp�ƽ��’s director of LGBTQ+ resources and initiatives and supports the development of affirming and inclusive LGBTQIA+ communities for MHC students, staff, faculty and alums.

Mayan Caplan ’25 shares how she made connections at Mount Holyoke: “It’s not just that everyone is really open and willing to connect; it’s that everyone is dazzlingly interesting, and I want to be in community with them.”

91����Ƶapp�ƽ�� has been a vibrant and safe second home for Mars Bickford ’25. “I don’t think I would have felt that I could explore my personal gender identity anywhere else,” they said.

91����Ƶapp�ƽ�� senior Marley Berano ’25 said, “I was looking for a place to grow [and] challenge myself but also to have a social life or work on the side while not losing my sport at the same time.”

Cindie Huerta-Velazquez ’25 connects food and community at Mount Holyoke: “We all have different friend groups, but once a week we come together to talk about anything and everything. We intentionally make that time and effort to be together.”
